It’s been a busy August in the Stratis camp — from new development updates to upcoming events — we have lots of news to share.
Unity SDK update
We were thrilled to announce an update to the Unity SDK, which enables native interaction with Stratis Smart Contracts. Soon to be available via the Unity Asset Store, developers can add Non-Fungible Tokens (NFTs) to their games, allowing players to swap or exchange items like swords or shields in secondary markets. The integration also allows game developers to introduce innovative new tokenised models for games like play-to-earn.
Stratis InterFlux V2
Meanwhile, Stratis InterFlux became the first product under the Stratis Blockchain Technologies framework to incorporate our Oracles feature. Stratis’ Oracle feature has been employed to query real-time pricing of both the current Ethereum gas price, which is highly volatile and in addition, the current USD value of the STRAX Token. These crucial metrics enable a dynamic fee to be applied to all trustless conversion requests, resulting in fair and consistent fees being applied based upon actual market data.
wSTRAX liquidity prize
To celebrate the launch of the first wSTRAX liquidity pool, we made a $50,000 prize available to liquidity providers who added at least 1000 wSTRAX before 17 August 2021 and that remain in the pool until 23.59 BST Friday 17 September. Rewards will be gained on a weighted basis — click here for more information.
Trivia Legends proposal passes Stratis Decentralized Accelerator vote
We’re excited that Kiqqi Game’s proposal for Trivia Legends was accepted by a vote and awarded $250,000 worth of STRAX from the Stratis Decentralized Accelerator to build the Trivia Legends game using Stratis. From a game developer with over 13m downloads, this game will reinvent trivia using the power of NFTs on Stratis to enhance gameplay and deliver more value to players. Look out for further updates.

Red Ego Games is an established London based indie studio and is the developer behind Re:Turn — One Way Trip and Re:Turn 2 — Runaway.
